DGA security is a full-service provider of managed business security solutions including intrusion alarms, video surveillance, access control, fire alarm systems and more. I was engaged by Camp Creative, a creative and marketing agency to redesign the DGA website. DGA wanted a website that was modern, informative and would highlight the company’s excellence.
To start the project, I conducted independent research to gain a better understanding of DGA’s business and its competitors. Following this, I conducted stakeholder interviews to gather more information about the company’s offerings and its business security solutions.
I also led a two-day discovery workshop with eight stakeholders from the company. During the workshop, I facilitated interactive exercises such as the value proposition canvas, where I focused on the customer profile and the company’s benefits for the users. Additionally, I conducted exercises to understand the vertical industries that DGA served, its competitive advantages, and to map out a user journey for a jewelry owner who required a security system to protect their store from theft.
After the workshop, I produced a comprehensive document outlining the findings from the interviews and workshop. I collaborated with a copywriter to present ten value propositions for various DGA solutions and services. Additionally, I created a site map and wireframes.
As a result, I designed a professional website that instilled trust and increased brand awareness. The website had a logical structure of services that were easy to navigate.
