Background and Problem

I collaborated with Cloud for Good, a Salesforce implementation partner, to develop a responsive giving portal for Indiana University. This portal enables users to contribute financial gifts to the university’s 1,700+ funds.

Solution

We conducted a comprehensive workshop with stakeholders to understand the project’s objectives, learn more about the portal’s users, and understand Indiana University’s branding guidelines.

 

We successfully developed a giving portal for Indiana University that streamlined the donation process. Our solution addressed the challenge of navigating a vast array of funds by implementing user-friendly search and filtering capabilities. The portal’s flexibility and convenience, along with the ability to create user accounts, resulted in improved donor engagement and simplified administration.

 

Our solution resulted in:

 

  • Enhanced donor experience: The user-friendly interface and intuitive search functionality improved the overall giving experience, making it easier for donors to find and support their preferred causes.
  • Increased user engagement: The introduction of flexible donation options, including recurring gifts, encouraged ongoing contributions, and fostered long-term donor relationships.
  • Streamlined administration: The portal’s account management features reduced administrative burden by empowering users to self-manage their profiles and recurring gifts.
Carolina works equally well with technical and non-technical people and does an excellent job taking on a wide range of requirements and bringing them to life. She has been invaluable to our developer team in thinking though the UX/UI of our projects. She is great working with clients and gets them so excited for the work to come.
